Seqirus (drug company) teamed up with CVS Pharmacy (pharmacy) to provide safe, convenient flu shots for free (kinda).

Seqirus chose the groups they wanted to target, and we at CVS Media Exchange chose the best way to get those groups to get their flu shot.

How we reached Proactive Healthcare Consumers:

This group probably would have gotten their flu shot anyways.

They send news articles to their kid about the dangers of vaping.

The goal isn’t so much to convince them to get their flu shot, but convince them to get their flu shot at CVS.

How we reached Household Financial Administrators:

Household Financial Administrators are risk averse, and their favorite word is “free.”

So we put that word in large fluorescent font, and posed the flu shot as a time, health, and financial risk mitigator.

How we reached Families:

These ads targeted young families with kids who were likely to visit CVS together for flu shots.

Then maybe ice cream after if you’re good.
